We offer pedagogical programmes which enable every student to be taken into an animation studio after his studies and to work there in all the different fields of animation.
Career Prospects
Cinema films, T.V. series, advertising, website animations, videogames and telephone animations. Students are trained for the following careers : Script writer, Character Design, Background Design, Storyboard, Layout, Clean-up, Assistant Animation, Cutting, Mixer, Director. Computer-training includes the following programmes : Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Premiere, TV Paint and Adobe Flash. These enable the student to achieve computer-colouring, cutting and Postproduction. Basic 3D skills are taught on Autodesk Maya.
These job profiles enable every student to work out a final project within a group. Thus , the student must go through each work-unit autonomously: script, Character Design, Background Design, Story-board, Lay-out, Animation, Clean-up, Computer-colouring, cutting and post production.
The aim is to combine creativity and professional and technical know-how.
Physical movements should be graphically transplanted by taking special care in co-ordinating dynamics, rhythm and body language. Mimics and the genuine expression of feelings and atmosphere are most important. As such, we train technicians for the studios and no film artists.
